The webpage is designed with simplicity & ease for an effortless scheduling process. Interuptions during my loc sessions/time off/sleep have become excessive & domineering amidst my workday. Hours Of Opertn (Don't Select This)

This is not a bookable service, it's just to showcase the Hours of Operation. Regular Business Hours - Appt. Slots Mon/Wed/Fri - 7am, 10am, or 1pm, Tues/Thurs - 11am, 2pm, or 5pm Sun - 12pm, 2pm, or 4pm. Any hours outside the above slots, please refer to the Before/After Hours section.

Before/After Hours Appointment

Appointments requests outside of normal business hours will accrue an additional $60.00 per hour service fee or request denial. Please refer to the Regular Business Hours section for exact time slots.

Squeeze-In Fee

$50.00 deposit required

For convenience: A client whom wants to get serviced on short notice/day of/less than 24hrs./squeeze in last min./no prior appt./next available appt./skip waiting list.

Late Arrival/Fee

15 mins late -$20 | 30 mins late -$35 | 45 mins late -$50 | 1hr late-$65 | After an hour late appt. will be canceled and/or rescheduled

Cancelation Policy

Shannell The Loctress charges 50% of booked services for cancelations within 48 hrs. of scheduled appts. Any no-shows or cancelations within 24 hrs. of scheduled appts will be charged 100% of booked services. Please be mindful of business professionals' time by adequately canceling ahead of time.

Consultation

$25.00 deposit required

Required for all "Starter" methods. Opportunity to meet face to face, analyze current hair status, ask questions & concerns. Discuss future loc wants & needs. Map out long term goals to maintain a healthy loc journey regimen; all while receiving professional loc knowledge & advice along the way.

Shampoo & Deep Condition

$15.00 deposit required

Rinse thoroughly to loosen dirt/oil buildup, 1 round clarifying, 1 round purifying & 1 round moisturizing shampoo is applied then rinsed. A conditioner with essential oils is applied then rinsed. Leave in conditioning oils are applied while receiving scalp massage. No service rendered on dirty locs

Blowdry

$22.50 deposit required

Hair is sectioned off into four parts and blown dry straight with blow dryer and/or straighten comb before braids/twists are installed. Heat protectant/oils may be used during process.

Loc Detox

$32.50 deposit required

Deep cleansing locs by soaking them in a mixture of ACV, baking soda, lemon juice & essential oils to remove the build-up of dirt, debris and impurities.

Beginner Starter Locs

$87.50 deposit required

Comb coiling and/or palm rolling loose hair strands to start the locking process of achieving locs. Reminder: Price may increase depending on loc grid pattern, sizing of locs & length of hair.

Loc Retwist

$62.50 deposit required

Retwisting up to 1 1/2 in of new growth using comb coil and/or palm rolling method. Reminder: Price may increase depending on amount of new growth, length & loc count (over 150)

Beginner Luxurious Locs

$130.00 deposit required

The Luxurious Locs is a semi-permanent to permanent method of achieving solidified locs. Locs will less likely to unravel easily and more mature than the traditional comb coil and palm rolling methods. Reminder: Price may increase depending on loc grid pattern, sizing of locs & length of hair.

Luxurious Locs Retwist

$80.00 deposit required

Retwist new growth using the comb coil method at the root and applying the luxurious loc method down the shaft of the loc to manipulate the hair strands back into the loc while minimizing fly ways and frizzness. Reminder: Price may increase depending on new growth amount, loc count.

Beginner Starter 2Strand Twist Locs

$112.50 deposit required

The shaft of hair strands are two strand twisted while the root of hair is comb coiled. Two strand twist will convert into love over time with continuous upkeep of regularly scheduled loc retwists. Reminder: Price may increase depending on loc grid pattern, sizing of locs & length of hair.

2Strand Twist Retwist

$70.00 deposit required

Retwisting up to 1 1/2 in of new growth using the comb coil and/or palm rolling method at the root and maintenancing the shaft of two strand twist. Reminder: Price may increase depending on amount of new growth, loc count(over 150)

Beginner Starter Inter/Micro Locs

$300.00 deposit required

Price: $100.00 hr. Braiding, twisting or interlocking loose hair strands down the shaft of hair then interlocking the root/base of the hair to the scalp using latch hook and locking tools to form locs. Reminder: Prices vary depending on loc grid pattern, sizing of locs, length & density of hair.

Inter/Micro Locs Retightening

$100.00 deposit required

Price: $100.00 hr. Retightening up to 1 in. of new growth with latch hook tools. Reminder: Price may increase depending on sizing of locs & length of new growth. The retightening session typically takes approx 1 1/2 hours.

Beginner Crochet/Instant Locs

$300.00 deposit required

Price $150.00 hr. Permanently locking hair strands to achieve instant/fully mature locs with crochet and locking tools. Reminder: Price may increase depending on loc grid pattern, sizing of locs & length of hair.

Crochet/Instant Retightening

$150.00 deposit required

Price: $100.00 hr. New growth and loose hair strands are crocheted close to scalp and back into the shaft of locs using locking tools. Reminder: Price may increase depending on amount of new-growth.

Perimeter Loc Retwist w/Style

Retwisting the first 2 rows around the perimeter of the client's head with simple style. *Intricate styles extra

Loc Reconstruction

$300.00 deposit required

Advanced loc maintenance and/or repairs to the scalp, grid, and shaft of locs. 1/4 of locs - $150 2/4 of locs - $300 3/4 of locs - $450 4/4 Entire head - $600 Reminder: Price may increase depending on loc grid pattern, sizing of locs, length of hair, and/or severity of reconstruction.

Loc Extensions

$250.00 deposit required

Adding human loc extensions onto natural hair for longer length of mature locs. Loc extensions not provided. Reminder: Price may increase depending on loc grid pattern, sizing of locs & length of hair.

Braid/Twist Loc Extensions

$150.00 deposit required

Adding human or synthetic extensions onto natural hair using braid, twist &/or latch hook methods for longer length or pizazz to locs. Hair extensions not provided. Reminder: Price may increase depending on grid pattern, sizing of locs, & the desired length of extended hair.

Loc Retwist - Extra Maintenance Add

When the client has 2 or more inches of new growth and/or hasn't had locs maintained within 6 wks. Stylist will correct grid/parting and incorporate extra frizz/loc strands back into shaft of locs. Crocheting new growth at the root may be necessary.

Loc Repair/Reattachment

Price: $10.00-$20.00 per loc (minimum to major repairs determines exact cost) Repairing and/or reattaching weak/damaged/slippage/cut-off locs with crochet & locking tools. Please be specific at the time of booking as to how many locs need repaired and/or reattached. Pricing varies.

Loc Takedown/Removal

$250.00 deposit required

Price: $100.00 hr. Loc reversal is taking out locs using combs/rattails, locking tools, water/conditioner and a lot of patience & time. Reminder: Price increases depending on the method, length, size and amount of locs.

Braid Takedown/Removal

Takedown/removal of previously braided hair. 30mins-$30 | 1hr-$60 Shampoo of dirty hair is required after takedown.

Cornrows/Braids (Kids 10 & Under)

$50.00 deposit required

Lose hair is braided to the scalp. Price increases for length of hair, intricate designs, hair added, extentions length, and/or accessories. Shampoo/deep conditioned, detangling, blow dry/hair straightening are extra services(fees). Please provide/bring your own braid hair & desired accessories.

Cornrows/Braids (Age 11 & Up)

$62.50 deposit required

Lose hair is braided to the scalp. Price increases for directional, stitch, intricate designs, hair added, and accessories.

Men Box Braids/Twists

$62.50 deposit required

Reg-$125 | Med-$150 | Small-$175 Hair is parted into desired shape then sections of hair is plaited or two strand twisted from scalp into hanging braids/twist. Price increase depending on length, sizing & grid shape.

Box/Knotless/Feed-In Braids

$100.00 deposit required

Box braids start off @ $200 +. Price increase depending on sizing & length. Knotless / Feed-In braids start off @ $250 +. Price increases depending on sizing & length. Hair is NOT included.

Traveling Fees

$50.00 deposit required

There is a minimal flat rate of $50 each way (Total $100) for local traveling fees. For distant/destination travel time, the rate is $50 a hour.

Birthday Hair

When you book a service during your birthday month, you will receive $25 off your total. Proof of birth date required to redeem discount.
